Treatment for the removal and improvement of vascular lesions.

Vascular lesions can be present from birth or develop with age, or occur as the result of sun damage. They occur when the small capillaries in the skin become dilated and can give the appearance of red spots, or sometimes large stains, such as port wine stains. They can also spread out like thread veins or spider veins.

Vascular lesion treatment involves a laser that is used to treat dilated small blood vessels and diffuse redness.

Angiomas

Red moles, or cherry angiomas, are common skin growths that can develop on most areas of your body. They’re usually found on people aged 30 and older. The collection of small blood vessels inside a cherry angioma give them a reddish appearance.

A laser passes through the skin, and the blood vessels in the angioma absorb the beam. After the treatment, the angioma should be improved or disappear.
It will then fade over the next 2-4 weeks.
On average, a person needs two treatments to experience the best results. However, results vary by skin tone. A single treatment may be enough to treat smaller angiomas.
It is important to avoid sun exposure for about 4 weeks before and 2 weeks after laser treatment for the best results and minimal side effects.
